Auburn High senior Cameron Echols-Luper — who played quarterback for the Tigers but is expected to play wide receiver in college — decommitted from Texas A&M on Tuesday.
“The main factor was how many receivers they had committed,” Echols-Luper told the Opelika-Auburn News. “I just didn’t want to fall back into the numbers of the depth chart. It was the best decision for me.”
