Museum of East Alabama to host Taste of Historic East Alabama

The Museum of East Alabama will host an evening of food from local restaurants, wine and a silent auction at The Taste of Historic East Alabama from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1. The event will be at the museum on 9th St. in downtown Opelika. Restaurants include Irish Bred Pub, Niffer’s, Jefferson’s, Amsterdam Café, Ma Fia’s, Jim Bob’s Chicken, Sweet Malisa’s, Jimmy’s, Martha Hicks Catering, Ursula’s Catering, Outback, Maestro 2300, Jim N Nicks BBQ, Overall Company, Gourmet Tiger and Zoe’s Kitchen. Tickets are $25 and are available at the museum, the Opelika and Auburn chambers of commerce, Southern Crossing and Resurrect Antiques. Sponsored by AuburnBank, the event provides funds for operation of the museum.
