Miss Bonnie Nell Jackson and Mr. Matthew Walker Capps were married in a garden ceremony, at six o'clock in the evening, September 26, 2009, at Fountainview in Auburn, Alabama.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walker Madison Jackson of Auburn. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Evan Bennett Davis of Auburn, Dr. and Mrs. Hiram Madison Jackson of Milledgeville, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Watts Stanford of Lake Lanier, Georgia.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Isbell Capps of Macon, Georgia. Grandparents are Mrs. Charles David McEachern, and the late Mr. McEachern of Macon, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bonna Capps of Auburn.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Ruth Webber Woodruff, Maid of Honor, and Aletha Angelyn Seckman, Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Jane Brackett, Allison Claire Brechin, Whitley Virginia McEachern, Abby Jones Simms, and Rachel Christine Wilson.

Carl Capps served his son as best man, as well as Randolph Clayton Capps, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Benjamin Stanford Jackson, brother of the bride, William Bert Langley III, John Bernard Ramsey, Benjamin Taylor Reeves, and Brittain O'Neal Simms. Ushers were John Knox Burns, Jack Ballard Carter III, Joshua Joseph Dindo, and Crisp Bradley Flynt.

Ring Bearers were William Jemison Rice and Henry Thomas Etheridge Rice, cousins of the bride.

Program and Brides Book attendant was Ansley Elizabeth Davis, and Greeter was Stuart Alexander Davis.

Dr. George Henry Mathison performed the ceremony. Harpist was Mrs. Melaney Jones, and Trumpeter was Mr. Ben Fairchild. Floral Designer was Mrs. Catherine Wayman.

A reception was held at Fountainview with music provided by the band Summer Breeze.

The grooms parents entertained the wedding party, family, friends and out of town guest, at a Rehearsal Dinner and After Party, at the Auburn University Club. Music was provided by Mr. Will Mooty.

The couple was honored with several parties prior to their wedding. The engagement party was held in the home of Pepe and Curt Cope. Other host couples were Becky and Ed Lewis, Marsha and Sam McCord, Charlotte and John Cope, Carolyn and Will Mooty, Marsha and Bill

Cook, Judy and Jay Jones, Millie and John Greene, Tracy and Paul West, Julie and Corky Carter, Vera Ellen and David Scott, and Dawn and Roger Pierce.

A fiesta bridal shower was given in Birmingham by college friends in July. Hosted by Webber Woodruff, Aletha Seckman, Allison Brichen, Rachel Wilson and Whitney Dowling.

An engagement party was held in Macon, Ga. Aug. 1st, hosted by friends of the grooms family in the home of Helen and Steve Stewart.

A bridal luncheon was hosted by family friends in Milledgeville, Ga. Aug. 22nd, at the Milledgeville Country Club.

A mimosa and monogram shower was given by Patsy Young, Myra Thomas, Beverly Helm, Debbie Brackett, and Pam Boyd, in the Young's home, August 23rd.

The bridesmaid luncheon was in the home of Rebecca Rice. Hostess include Sis Davis, Mary McEachern, Nell Jackson, Doran Stanford, Susan Jemison, and Rebecca Rice.

Carl Capps and Tom McEachern hosted a Groomsmen tailgate party the day of the wedding at Moores Mill Country Club.

Food and drinks were provided for the wedding party and family members before the wedding by Cissy Yarbrough, Pat Giddens, Anne Harrell, and Mary Winkler.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the newlyweds are at home in Mobile, Alabama.
