Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall was detained by Georgia police following a traffic stop, where officers discovered a few grams of marijuana in his vehicle.

According to Reynolds (Ga.) Police Chief Lonnie Holder, he and another officer were patrolling Georgia Hwy. 96 East when they came across a purple Dodge Charger with windows tinted to 6 percent, which is a violation. Holder said he then initiated the traffic stop at approximately 12:45 p.m. (EDT) and pulled the car over, which was driven by Marshall.
