In lieu of oaks at Toomer’s Corner, Auburn University fans can now roll four wires installed Tuesday after Auburn athletic victories.

“There are three concrete poles that had been installed,” said Kevin Cowper, assistant Auburn city manager. “One of them is in the center median on college, one is in the landscape island in front of Toomer’s Drugs, and the other is in the landscape island in front of the Bank Vault. There are wires that span from the pole in the center median to the other two poles, so they form a v-shape.”
