Auburn resident works presidential inauguration

As a paramedic, Tim Curry has worked through everything, from hurricanes to natural disasters. However, he worked a different situation Monday morning — the presidential inauguration.

Curry, an Auburn resident and 1973 graduate of Auburn University, was selected as part of a medical assistance unit out of Mobile to work during President Barack Obama’s second inauguration. The team worked in conjunction with Texas-3 DMAT and included two doctors and four nurses from Alabama.
