In an effort of celebrating the diversity of its student body, Auburn Junior High School will host the first AJHS “Hey Day” on Friday, Feb. 1, to encourage students to join together and create new friendships.

Similar to Auburn University’s Hey Day each fall, the AJHS “Hey Day” will begin at 7:15 a.m. with students who arrive on campus to be greeted by the Hal Moore Leadership Academy students, who will give each student name tags to wear throughout the morning. During lunch, students will be asked to place their nametags on several “Hey Day” posters outside the cafeteria.
