Tentative trial date for former Auburn University football player set at status hearing

A trial date of April 8 was tentatively set for former Auburn University football player Mike McNeil during a status conference in Lee County Circuit Court on Friday.

McNeil, 23, faces burglary, robbery and theft of property charges, along with former teammates Dakota Mosley and Shaun Kitchens, in connection with the March 2011 armed robbery of a residence in Conway Acres Trailer Park in Auburn.
