The Auburn University Student Government Association was divided Monday over a resolution to minimize harassment in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The resolution was introduced Monday, and 17 senators voted to uphold regular procedures and table the vote until Monday, Nov. 18, while 16 senators wished to break regular procedure and vote immediately.
This article previously stated that the Student Government Association voted 17-16 against the resolution Monday, Nov. 11 and would vote again Monday, Nov. 18.
The vote Monday, Nov. 11 was to determine whether the senate would uphold regular procedure and wait a week to vote, or if it would vote immediately. The senate voted 17-16 to uphold regular procedure, and the resolution will be voted on for the first time Monday, Nov. 18.
