Deputies bust Smiths Station meth lab; three charged

Three Smiths Station residents were arrested Friday on drug manufacturing charges after a meth lab was found in their residence, according to law enforcement.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of Absalom Edmond Shreves, 54; Shreves’ wife, Felicia Ann Shreves, 41; and Gary Scott Flenard, Jr., all of Smith Station, in a Saturday evening press release. They were each charged with unlawful manufacturing in the second degree and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
