Camp Hill man charged with 2005 homicide

An arrest has been made in a murder case eight years after a 78-year-old woman was killed, police have reported.

Police recently arrested Markis Heard, 33, of Camp Hill, and charged him with murder in a case involving a death that occurred Feb. 21, 2005 when Willie Louise Kellum, a 40-year employee of the Tallapoosa/Chambers Head Start Program, was found dead in her home on Thompson Street in Camp Hill after an apparent assault, according to a release sent out by the Camp Hill Police Department.
