Opelika man sentenced to 25 years for trying to kill estranged wife

An Opelika man who had previously been convicted of trying to kill his estranged wife will be spending the next quarter century in prison.

Thomas Addies Thomas, 51, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his attempted murder conviction, as well as 10-year sentences for domestic violence and domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation. Circuit Judge Chris Hughes delivered the sentence to Thomas
