New girls' home set to open in Opelika

Just off of Andrews Road in Opelika, through a pair of white gates and a long, narrow road, six twin beds wait for girls in crisis. Three are pink. Three are blue.

“We’ve realized every girl is not a pink girl,” explained Teresa Roland “T.R.” Amason. “I’m purple.”
