Auburn Police Division

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at a parking lot on North Dean Road after a laptop computer was taken between 2 and 2:20 p.m.

          » Theft of property was reported Thursday at a location on Mell Street after a bicycle and bicycle lock were taken between 9 a.m. Jan. 22 and 12: 01 a.m. Monday.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at a parking lot on North Donahue Drive after two pairs of sunglasses and assorted clothing items were taken between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at parking lot on Garden Drive after cash was taken and a door handle and frame were damaged between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at a drug store on East Glenn Avenue after a backpack containing a cellphone, pair of prescription eye glasses and assorted personal files were taken between 2 and 2:15 p.m.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at a bank on North College Street after a duffel bag, laptop computer, bottle of cologne, assorted clothing, pair of sunglasses and a flask were taken and a door lock was damaged between noon and 5 p.m.

          » Burglary was reported Thursday at a residence on Yeager Lane after two laptop computers were taken between 5 and 7:45 p.m.

          » Identity theft was reported Thursday in the 400 block of North 18th Street.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday I the 1200 block of North 12th Street.

 

 

Lee County Sheriff’s Office

          » Attempted burglary was reported Thursday at a residence in the 5000 block of Lee Road 390 in Opelika after a door was damaged between 12:05 and 12:10 p.m.

          » Theft of property was reported Thursday at a residence in the 1000 block of Lee Road 360 in Valley after two drills, a framing gun and a grading transit were taken between 4 p.m. Jan. 16 and noon Jan. 20.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at residence in the 100 block of Lee Road 2041 in Phenix City after a handgun and ammunition were taken at unknown times between Jan. 12 and Monday.

 

Opelika Police Department

          » Fraudulent use of a credit or debit card and theft of property were reported Thursday at a location in the 1600 block of Pepperell Parkway after the victim’s credit card was used to make unauthorized purchases between noon and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

          » Burglary and theft of property were reported Thursday in the 200 block of Vero Court after cash was taken between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. There is a suspect and Opelika police are investigating.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at Cracker Barrel in the 1000 block of Fox Run Avenue after luggage containing assorting clothing, cosmetics and personal items was taken between noon and 1 p.m.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at residence in the 400 block of Geneva Street after a sweater and necklace were taken between noon Sunday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at Walmart in the 2900 block of Pepperell Parkway after a laptop computer, digital camera, assorted computer cables, adapters and a book bag were taken between 2 and 4:30 p.m.

          » Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property were reported Thursday at Angel’s Antiques and Flea Mall in the 900 block of Columbus Parkway after a tote bag and a purse containing several credit and debit cards, a checkbook, , a laptop computer, an Alabama driver’s license and other personal items were taken between 12:45 and 1 p.m.

          » Bernard Glaze Jr., 27, of Valley was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and first-degree receiving stolen property.

          » Terroristic threats were reported in the 200 block of Johnson Street.

          » Fraudulent use of a credit card was reported in the 500 block of U.S. Highway 29.
