Mama was right about taking piano lessons

As I write this piece, my 10- year-old granddaughter is hitting one key after another on her grandmother’s piano.

Sarah’s music teacher has graciously come to our home to provide her weekly piano lesson. I am impressed by her willingness to make a house call to teach a little girl. Such a piano teacher must be “one in a million.”

Why does bite

Dogs have been a big part of my life for the better part of 45 years. My first memory of a family dog was an old lab and beagle mix named Ruffy; he was as kind and gentle as any dog I have ever know until you got near his food bowl. Ruffy would let out a warning growl to simply say “stay away.”
