Local law enforcement agencies are investigating the deaths of two people.

Investigators from the Valley Police Department and Lanett Police Department are working together in death investigations.

According to Valley authorities, one of the victims is a Valley resident—William Joshua Whitehead, 24. He was found dead the morning of March 6. Valley authorities are awaiting toxicology reports to determine cause of death.

A second victim has been identified as Logan Larue Overton, 20. Lanett police are investigating his death.

Police will not confirm whether the incidents are related, but are talking with each other in the cases.
