Hurtsboro’s top cop, arrested in Union Springs

UNION SPRINGS - The acting police chief of Hurtsboro was arrested in Union Springs over the July 4th holiday weekend.
Marvin Christian was charged with kidnapping and domestic violence, according to Union Springs Police Chief Clarence Wheeler. He said Christian posted a $21,000 bond and was released from custody Monday afternoon.
No other information was immediately available about the arrest.
