Juvenile victim of sexual assault

An 11-year-old Auburn girl was allegedly sexually assaulted April 27, according to an Auburn police report filed Thursday.

The suspect is older than 18 and known to the victim and the victim’s family, Auburn police Capt. Tom Stofer said.

Stofer would not say where the incident occurred because the case is under investigation, he said.
