Man shot at Auburn hotel

A 26-year-old Auburn man was injured after an acquaintance shot him at an Auburn hotel early Friday morning, according to an Auburn police report.

The incident occurred at 1:27 a.m. at Comfort Inn on South College Street.

Police recovered a .22-caliber revolver, the type of weapon used in the offense, according to the report.
