* Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported between July at 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. A High-Point 9mm pistol was stolen from the vehicle.

* Shooting into an occupied dwelling was reported at the 3400 block of dale Avenue between July 14 between 8:40 p.m. and 9 p.m. Three shots were fired into the residence that damaged sheet rock and destroyed a window.

* Burglary and theft of property was reported at the 500 block of 2nd Avenue on July 16 at 2:45 a.m. The suspect stole a case of soft drinks. The suspect is described as a black male approximately 5 foot 8 inches in height, 160 pounds and wearing a black shirt and black pants.

* Burglary and theft of property was reported at the 1000 block of York Avenue between July 15 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. A purse containing $97, drivers license and credit card was stolen. Three suspects have been named.

* Criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported at the 1700 block of 3rd Avenue.The suspect presented a counterfeit check in the amount of $4,935.58. The suspect described as a black female approximately 5 feet 5 inches in height, 120 pounds and was reported leaving the scene in a 1980 pink Cadillac. She received no money.

* Burglary was reported at the 3600 block of Randall Drive between July 14 at 9 p.m. and July 15 at 7:30 a.m. No property was taken and no suspects have been identified.
