City collecting donations for reward fund
The City of Auburn maintains a Reward Fund to which citizens and businesses may contribute, for general use or specific cases. The purpose of the Reward Fund is to encourage people to provide information that may be helpful in determining what happened to victims such as Lauren Burk, the Auburn University freshman who lost her life Tuesday.
Reward offered for information in Burk case
Alabama Gov. Bob Riley has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. The City of Auburn is collecting donations for a reward fund.
