Tigers finish off sweep of VMI
For the fourth consecutive game, Auburn’s offense was too much for the Keydets’ pitching, and the Tigers’ bullpen made an early lead stick. Sunday, the recipe worked out to a 6-5 Auburn victory, the Tigers’ sixth in a row.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Christina Wirth scored her only points of the game with 1:45 left to break a tie at 41, and No. 21 Vanderbilt advanced to the semifinals of the Southeastern Conference tournament for the eighth time in nine years by holding off Auburn, 49-44, Friday night.
Tigers face tough finale today
For its regular-season Southeastern Conference finale, the Auburn basketball team must travel to Fayetteville, Ark., to face surging Arkansas. It’s a tough matchup in the best of times: Arkansas beat AU, 76-70, in the teams’ previous meeting, in Auburn.

The Auburn softball team opened the first day of the War Eagle Classic with a pair of wins, defeating Bowling Green, 3-1, and Georgia Southern, 3-0.

Saturday’s scrimmage has been canceled because of the threat of inclement weather.
Ziemba: He and DE Coleman ‘on right terms’ after incident
Offensive lineman Lee Ziemba, who was blocking Coleman when the junior was injured, spoke to the media Thursday for the first time since the incident. Ziemba said he spoke to Coleman shortly after Coleman was released from EAMC on Saturday afternoon.
