Smiths Station baseball player signs with Faulker

SMITHS STATION — Smiths Station third baseman-pitcher Drew Doster signed to play baseball at Faulkner University next season.

Doster is the fourth Smiths Station baseball player to sign with a college baseball team this year.

As a senior, Doster hit .333 with a .441 on-base percentage to lead the Panthers to a 25-9 record. He also finished the season 5-1 on the mound with a 3.16 ERA.
