The Auburn Summer Local Tour of the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour wrapped up its season Thursday with the Grand National Championship at the Grand National Lake course.
Opelika’s Eli Arwood finished with the highest honor of local golfers — capturing the 6-and-under championship and being named the Player of the Year for his age group.
Arwood, playing nine holes, shot a round of 47 in the championship for the win.
Tyler Burnette of Opelika fired a 54 and finished in second.
In the boys 7-year-old division, James Kim of Auburn won with a nine-hole score of 55. Patrick Mcmenamin of Opelika was second (72) and Elijah Schwenk of Opelika was third (73).
In the boys 8-year-old division, Nicholas Lambert of Montgomery won with a nine-hole score of 56. Riley Rutledge of Phenix City was second (66).
In the boys 9-year-old division, Turk Pettit of Auburn was first, winning a playoff over Addison Nix of Auburn. Both golfers shot rounds of 40.
Davis Thompson of Auburn was tied for fifth (47), Matthew Hall of Auburn was ninth (50), Trent Burenette of Opelika was 12th (57) and Houston Fuller of Opelika was 14th (67).
In the boys 10-year-old division, Sungjoon Kang of Auburn won with a round of 46. James Mcalindon of Auburn was third (54) and Taylor Clark of Auburn was fourth (61).
In the boys 11-year-old division, Stanton Schorr of Columbus, Ga., won with an 18-hole round of 92.
Andy Kim of Auburn was fourth (102).
In the boys 12-year-old division, Justin Mayfield of Hartselle won with an 18-hole score of 92.
Adam Finley of Auburn was third (144).
In the girls 8-year-old division, Chloe Wegienka of LaGrange, Ga., won with a nine-hole round of 59. Anna Claire Little of Auburn was second (73).
In the girls 9-year-old division, Briana Golden of Auburn won with a round of 46.
In the girls 11-year-old division, Sarah Battye of Auburn won with a round of 47. Sarah Grace Drop of Phenix City was second (54).
