BATON ROUGE, La. — Pitcher Cody Trahan threw a two-hit shutout to lead No. 3 seed LSU to a 4-0 victory over No. 6 seed Auburn in the first round of the Southeastern Conference Softball Tournament on Thursday night.

ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 10 Auburn women’s golf team opened NCAA East Regional play shooting 8-over 296 and are tied for sixth with No. 20 Virginia.  Freshman Cydney Clanton led the Tigers, firing 2-under 70 and is tied for fifth. 

LOACHAPOKA — Despite warm weather and a spring storm bearing down, it was football season in Loachapoka.

It’s a good bet that Auburn’s season opener against Louisiana-Monroe will include at least one round of applause for the visiting Warhawks.
