AUBURN BASEBALL: Koger ready to take reins as No. 1 starter

It’s not that Daniel Koger is abandoning the pitch he used to become an instant success on the Plains last season.

Auburn’s sophomore southpaw still plans to fling his fastball, a weapon that led him to a 3.19 ERA in a team-high 15 starts as a freshman. Koger just wants to change things up, in a literal sense as well as figuratively.
