AUBURN FOOTBALL: Tre Mason named a semifinalist for nation's top running back award

Auburn junior running back Tre Mason is one of 10 semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award, given annually to the nation’s top running back.

Mason has rushed for 1,038 yards this season, good enough for second in the SEC. His 16 rushing touchdowns are tops in the league and third nationally. In the last two games, Mason has rushed for a total of seven touchdowns, and has scored in seven straight contests.
