After a couple unexpected days off, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn did not like what he saw when his team returned to the practice field Wednesday morning.
“This was probably the first time that I wasn’t pleased overall with attitude, effort, our approach to practice,” Malzahn said. “And I told the guys afterwards, ‘We’ve got to do better.’ We’re at the midpoint of spring. That’s the thing you’ve got to worry about from a coach’s standpoint. We are going to get that corrected, and I think our players understand that.
