The Hotel at Auburn University will celebrate the upcoming holiday season with the unveiling of the Auburn Gingerbread Village, Teddy Bear Tea, Italian holiday cooking classes, a special Christmas Dinner, and a festive New Year’s Eve celebration.
The Hotel at Auburn University’s holiday season will kick off with the annual unveiling of its gingerbread village on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m. After the hotel’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony, guests will be invited inside to celebrate the beginning of the season with complimentary hot cider and cocoa, snacks and the holiday sounds of a bell choir. The hotel will then unveil the gingerbread village. The Cary Center will be this year’s addition, and it will join the University Chapel, the Auburn Depot, Cater Hall, Hargis Hall, Langdon Hall, and The Hotel at Auburn University to form the miniature Auburn gingerbread village. The Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is a newly formed academic center in the Auburn University College of Human Sciences that promotes financial and philanthropic responsibility and nonprofit leadership.
