Two Nashville-based bands are traveling to Auburn this weekend to perform at Bourbon Street Bar on Saturday night.
The American rock band Maradeen, founded in summer 2014, will kick off the show at 9:30 p.m. The Vegabonds, a mix of southern and modern rock, will take the stage after.
Maradeen released their newest album, Above the Horizon, in October 2015 and is now on tour across the south and east coast, according to drummer John Rodrigue. The band recently won a contest to open for Bon Jovi on tour at Philips Arena in Atlanta on Friday.
The Vegabonds formed in 2009 and released their fourth project, “What We’re Made Of,” in 2016.
Tickets for the show are $5 for those 21 years old and up and $10 for those under 21 years old.
