Mr. and Mrs. Richard F. Hoerlein of Auburn, Alabama, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Collette, to Christopher Lee Eckhardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Eckhardt, of Peachtree City, Georgia. The bride elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. Nevin Thompson of Groveland, Florida and the late Dr. and Mrs. B.F. Hoerlein of Auburn, Alabama. Kathryn is a 2010 graduate of Auburn High School. She is also a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. She continues at Auburn pursuing her master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, graduating in May 2016. The future bride groom is the grandson of Alba Eckhardt of Shiloh, Illinois and the late Mr. LeRoy Eckhardt and Marilyn Koenig of Peachtree City, Georgia and the late Mr. Victor Koenig. Christopher is a 2008 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School. He is also a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship. He is employed at Ameriprise Financial in Opelika, Alabama. The wedding will be an event of October 15, 2016 in Auburn Alabama.
